112908 - Postdoctoral Associate – Powel Brown’s lab
Postdoctoral position available in Dr. Powel Brown's laboratory at Baylor College of Medicine to study the gene regulation and transcription factor crosstalk in regulating breast cell transformation. Dr. Brown's laboratory uses genomic, proteomic, and molecular and cellular biologic approaches to investigate novel genes whose products control growth and transformation of breast cells. Possible projects include using micro-array and proteomic techniques to identify genes critical for breast cell transformation; studies of the mechanisms by which estrogen receptor interacts with other transcription factors to regulate growth and transformation; and the identification of novel signal transduction pathways that are required for breast cell transformation.
