Ben Taub Breast Oncology Clinic

Breast cancer is a common disease in the population in general. While the incidence of disease is lower in minority women, the chance of death, once diagnosed, is about 10% higher. The Ben Taub Breast Oncology Clinic was established, in part, to meet the needs of economically disadvantaged and minority women. The Ben Taub Breast Oncology Clinic is a collaborative effort between the Breast Care Center and the Harris County Hospital District. Partial funding support also comes from the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
